Thank you for being our front-line fighters in the COVID-19 pandemic battle. This pandemic is testing the healthcare supply chain like never before. CME Corp is dedicated to collaborating with both you, our customers, and our manufacturer partners to solve problems and supply much-needed equipment.
As you work to expand the triage, ER, laboratory, and ICU departments within your facilities and in temporary outside facilities, we are working tirelessly to get you your equipment in a timely and safe fashion. Here are a few things we are focusing on:
We are working very closely with our long-term manufacturers getting accurate order timelines, keeping track of available items, and finding new equipment solutions for you, while understanding that timelines and equipment availability are changing by the minute.
We also added over a dozen new vendors that have been providing you with cots, beds, stretchers, mattresses, face shields, goggles, tents, overbed tables, bedside cabinets, IV stands, isolation carts, thermometers, workstations-on-wheels, and waste management products to name a few.
Equipment Delivery and Installation
We continue to deliver and install equipment to your newly constructed healthcare facilities that have not opened.
We continue to deliver and install equipment to your working medical office buildings and clinics, while practicing safety precautions such as social distancing and good hand-washing techniques.
We have temporarily suspended inside deliveries to working hospitals to ensure the safety of our employees and your employees. We will deliver your equipment to the dock only. We are flexible, however, if an inside delivery can be done safely.
We recently did an inside delivery to a hospital at 6 AM, through a lightly used entryway to an area of the hospital with no patient access. This is decided on a case-by-case basis, so discuss possible solutions with your account manager or your delivery scheduler.
Temporary Biomedical Services
CME has field technicians across the country. We have been working closely with our manufacturers to augment their field services. A manufacturer with no technical representatives in Rochester, NY asked our field representatives in that area to help them at the local government hospital. We've provided those services and helped keep valuable equipment in the field working.
