Cindy Juhas, chief strategy officer of CME met with Providence Business News to discuss 'med-inflation'. Supply chain delays mixed with a reduction in raw materials has resulted in increased costs of supplies for the medical industry.
Some areas CME has seen price increases include foam for upholstered items, steel products, staff lockers, blanket warmers and benches. Many shippers have also increased their pricing.
