Cindy Juhas, Chief Strategy Officer of CME Corp. met with Fox Business to discuss inflation and supply chain shortages in the procurement of medical equipment.
CME has seen price increases of up to five times higher than usual this year. Shortages of raw materials and the rise of freight costs has resulted in many manufacturers having to wait for supplies and to increase their prices. Juhas warns customers to expect longer lead times on many items in the medical industry through the first quarter of 2023.
